Motorists find best, worst cities
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) - Some cities are friendlier toward motorists than others. WalletHub’s number crunchers compared the 100 most populated cities taking into account 21 key metrics to identify the best for drivers.

It turns out that Riverside and San Bernardino are among the most expensive for vehicle maintenance placing 96th. Miami, Honolulu and New York are worst.

San Bernardino also fails with the fewest car washes per capita.

WalletHub also looked at average gas prices, annual hours of traffic delays and the number of auto-repair shops per capita.

Overall, Riverside and San Bernardino placed 82nd and 89th on the 100 list.

San Diego was the best-rated city in California and San Francisco the worst.

Nationwide, five cities in Arizona were among the kindest to motorists.
