Cities ranked for affordable housing, quality of life
SOUTHLAND – (INT) – California’s renters are not surprised that the Golden State is one of the worst in the nation for affordable housing.

In a 150-city survey by WalletHub, four California cities are among the ten worst. They include Moreno Valley, Santa Ana, Los Angeles and Oakland.

By contrast, six Arizona cities were among the top 10 best for renters.

WalletHub examined affordability, vacancy rates, the cost of living and quality of life.

The Top Five cities with the best quality of life are Tampa, Florida; Orlando, Florida; Lincoln, Nebraska; Des Moines, Iowa and Scottsdale, Arizona.

The highest-ranked California city was Oceanside at number 20 and Irvine was 27th. Rancho Cucamonga came in at 107th on list of 150 cities.
