Refinery issues push gas prices higher
SOUTHLAND – (INT) – The summer downturn in gasoline prices is running on fumes.

Local refinery issues and higher oil prices have pushed up pump prices after more than a month of declines.

The Automobile Club of Southern California has found prices up by about 4-cents-a-gallon over the past week.

In the Inland Empire, the average per-gallon price is 16 cents less than last month, and 96 cents less than last year at this time.

Triple-A says the Valero Wilmington refinery is reportedly experiencing some issues, which has tightened up the Southern California gasoline supply.
