SACRAMENTO – (INT) – Another small step has been taken to start restoring the Salton Sea.

Governor Brown has signed a new law will allow Californians to make a voluntarily contribution to the "Revive the Salton Sea Fund" by checking a box on their State Income Tax form.

Riverside County State Senator Jeff Stone commented "There is much work to be done to save and restore the Salton Sea."

The bill was among 22 just signed by Governor Brown:
