Motorcycle fatalities on the rise, two die in Riverside
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – Two lives have been lost in the region’s latest traffic mishap involving a motorcycle.

Paramedics with the Riverside Fire Department said both victims died late Saturday afternoon after their motorcycle and an SUV collided on Columbia Avenue at Kearney Street.

The operator of the motorcycle was identified as Jack Howell, 54, of Riverside. His 57-year-old female passenger was identified as Annette Howell.

Seven people have perished this month in motorcycle accidents across the Inland Empire.

Earlier Friday in Menifee, a motorcyclist struck the center divider of Newport Road. Killed was Casey Ivey, 41, of Winchester.

Other motorcycle accidents since September 1st have claimed lives in Hesperia, Temecula, Wildomar and Riverside. (INT)
