Woman walks in front of oncoming train
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – A woman has become the 10th pedestrian to be struck and killed on the train tracks in the Metro area this year.

Riverside police say the woman walked onto the BNSF tracks between Iowa Avenue and Palmyrita Avenue late Saturday night.

The woman’s identity is being withheld until the coroner notifies her next of kin.

Most of the mishaps have occurred in the Riverside-Corona area and involved individuals who deliberately walked in front of oncoming trains.
