Woman admits hanging mannequins of sheriff’s deputies
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – A Crestline woman has admitted hanging mannequins in random locations in several mountain communities with the names of sheriff’s deputies and bullseye targets drawn on them.

Sarah Stewart agreed to a plea bargain and was sentenced Wednesday to a year in county jail with 279 days of credit.

Charges of participating in a street gang were dismissed, according to online documents of San Bernardino Superior Court.

Stewart has an extensive criminal history and reportedly has ties to local white supremacists and drug dealers.

The mannequins were attached to utility poles, roadside guardrails and stop signs.
