INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Ceremonies commemorating the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor were held Wednesday. Survivors will give their personal accounts in the following days.

In Norco, the annual Pearl Harbor ceremony was held at the Navel Weapons Station. That’s where some of the first of the wounded were taken after the December 7th attack.

In Victorville, the unveiling of a restored F-4 Phantom fighter-bomber highlighted Pearl Harbor Day at the former George Air Force Base, now known as the Southern California Logistics Airport.

Later on Saturday at the March Field Air Museum, Frank Verano will recall his experience on the USS Detroit when it was attacked at Pearl Harbor.

On December 14th at the museum, aviator and bomber pilot retired Air Foirce Lt. Colonel Saul Anshen will tell his story about Pearl Harbor.
