County supervisor hit with $6,000 penalty
SAN BERNARDINO - (INT) - California's Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) has affirmed a $6,000 penalty against County Supervisors Chairman Robert Lovingood.

The FPPC imposed the penalty at the rate of $1,500 per count for failing to timely disclose sources of income of $10,000 or more to his businesses on his Candidate, Assuming Office, and Annual Statement of Economic Interests for the years of 2013 and 2014.

The enforcement decision was approved by the Fair Political Practices Commission on Thursday, according to the FPPC's website.

Lovingood, of Apple Valley, owns two staffing businesses.

Lovingood is in his second term on the Board of Supervisors after being re-elected last November to represent the First District.
