Weak earthquakes rumble beneath Southern California
BANNING - (INT) – Earthquake activity is picking up across the Inland Empire and Southern California. A flurry of small temblors that began earlier this month continues.

Among the latest temblors was an M2.7 Wednesday morning situated beneath the San Bernardino Mountains at the edge of the Morongo Indian Reservation between Banning and Cabazon. A similar quake occurred in the same area March 13th.

Another repeat epicenter just east of Loma Linda has generated three quakes strong enough to be felt over the past 8-days.

There has been seismic activity in the Imperial Valley and in the ocean southwest of Santa Barbara Island.

None of the quakes have been strong enough to cause damage.
