RIALTO – (INT) – A search for a stolen trailer turned up more than investigators had in mind.

Their detective work took them to a residence on W. McWethy where they served a search warrant and not only located the trailer, but 2,644 pounds of illegal fireworks.

A man was questioned and arrested for possession of stolen property and more than 100 pounds of dangerous fireworks.

Boxes of illegal fireworks were stacked high in the residence. They were removed and destroyed.
