CORONA - (INT) – A dedication ceremony Friday will mark completion of the upgrades to the Route 91 freeway.

Auxiliary toll lanes, new interchanges, bridges and ramps were part of the $1.3 billion project that covers about 8-miles between Route 71 and the I-15.

The express lanes were opened March 20th, but general purpose lanes remain crowded especially during commute hours.

Clean-up and landscaping will require some occasional lane closures in the coming weeks.

Friday’s 11am dedication will be at the North Main Corona Metrolink Station.
