Warming follows windy times
INLAND EMPIRE - May will open where April’s weather left off – fair, warm and dry.

High pressure is building over the West and will help maintain temperatures over most of Southern California. But, the cooling marine air is also ramping up bringing down temperatures that set record highs Saturday along the immediate coast.

A double whammy of wind advisories and warnings have expired.

In the more distant future, there are signs a cut-off low could form off the California coast by next weekend bringing cooler weather and a very slim chance of a shower.

April, meantime, wound up warmer than usual but rainfall was below normal for the second month in a row.
