Purchasing managers rate inland economy
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – The region’s economic growth eased slightly in April after a first quarter spurt.

The Institute of Applied Research at Cal State San Bernardino polled thirty purchasing managers. Although all of the major components of the Purchasing Manager’s Index dropped, 52 percent of those questioned predicted a stronger second quarter.

The economy is slowing, but Cal State’s Dr. Barbara Sirotnik said “The overall economy is growing”.
