IE strikes out for summertime jobs
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Students and others looking for summertime jobs are likely to find the pickings pretty slim across the inland region.

The Inland Empire ranked near the bottom in WalletHub’s rankings of the nation’s 150 largest cities. In fact, Moreno Valley came in last in the availability of summer jobs. Riverside, San Bernardino and Ontario didn’t do much better.

Fontana was near the bottom (144th) in the availability of internships.

WalletHub’s analysts compared the relative strength of the 150 largest markets in the U.S. across 21 key indicators of employment outlook, affordability and downtime-friendliness. The data set ranges from median income of part-time workers to availability of summer jobs to rental price for a one-bedroom property.
