INLAND EMPIRE - (INT) - Three pedestrians have been killed in a series of unrelated mishaps on local freeways.

In San Bernardino, several vehicles struck an unidentified female late Friday night on Interstate 215 near Auto Plaza Drive.

Earlier near Baker, a pedestrian identified as Michael Coleman, 21, was struck while standing on the shoulder of Interstate 15. The California Highway Patrol did not immediately release details of the incidents.

The coroner has identified a third pedestrian who'd been walking on the side of Interstate 215 in Colton early Friday. Paramedics responded and found Robert Lee Gibson, 59, of Colton dead. (INT)
