One person was killed and two others hurt in a head-on collision Wednesday night east of Temecula. It happened on Highway 79 near Aguanga at Crosley Truck Trail and involved up to four vehicles. A surviving driver, Gary Kirkham, 76, of Aguanga said the setting sun momentarily blinded him causing his car to cross the highway's center line. One of his passengers was killed. He was identified as Lawrence Young, 50, of Aguanga. (INT)
