Explosion, fire attributed to honey lab operation
WILDOMAR – (INT) – Investigators have determined that a fire an explosion early Wednesday that destroyed one home and damaged another was the result of an illegal butane honey oil lab operation.

One of the suspects operating the illegal lab suffered third-degree burns over half his body and remains in a medically induced coma at local hospital. He was identified as Braken Blucher, 30, of Anza. Due to the severity of his injuries, Blucher was not arrested.

Six other people were displaced by the explosion and fire in the 33600 Block of E. Harvest Way.

The Riverside County Fire Department estimated damages at $350,000.
