Homeland fire bug convicted RIVERSIDE – (INT) – A 44-year-old parolee has been convicted of 14 charges stemming from a series of fires in the rural community of Homeland.
Marco Aispuro was arrested last year after two fires heavily damaged or destroyed a pair of mobile homes. Earlier on April 30th, 2016, the Community First Church of God on Highway 74 was gutted in an overnight fire. Aispiuro was not charged in that incident. All the fires occurred at night and most appear to have started outside the buildings. Combined, the damages neared $1 million. The verdict in Aispuro’s trial came Friday in Riverside Superior Court.
