No survivors in crash of aerobatic plane APPLE VALLEY – (INT) – There were no survivors in the crash of a fixed-wing airplane Saturday near the Black Mountain Quarry.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department tweeted that one person was killed when the aerobatic plane went down in the open desert near Union Avenue and Doberman Street. There was no immediate word where the plane was based or if a flight plan had been filed. A witnesses was the first to report the crash. The cause will be investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board. Story Date: July 29, 2017
