Best vs worst cities for renters
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – With the summer moving season in full swing, many are weighing owning a home versus renting.

WalletHub compared the 150 largest rental markets based on 21 key measures of attractiveness and living quality. The data set ranged from historical rental-price changes to cost of living to jobs availability.

California and the Inland Empire did not do well. Arizona placed six markets on the Top 10 list.

In California, San Diego did best at #43 and Fontana, the Inland Empire’s best, at #50. Ontario came in at #80, Riverside #82, Moreno Valley #90 and San Bernardino trailed near the bottom at #130.

Among the least-affordable cities in the nation was San Bernardino near the bottom at #146.

Several Inland Empire cities scored better on the ‘Quality of Life’ list with Rancho Cucamonga 9th highest, Fontana 21st and Riverside 61st among the 150 cities ranked by WalletHub.
