The new Southwest Juvenile Courthouse opened Monday in Murrieta. The $15 million courthouse replaces outdated courtrooms at Indio that were vacated as part of the expansion of the Indio Jail. Officials say the courthouse will help meet the needs of the fast growing population in the mid-county region. (INT)
