Governor commutes killer's no-parole prison term
Governor Brown has commuted the no-parole prison term of an inmate who has served 36-years behind bars for the drunken fatal beating of a taxi cab driver in Riverside County in 1981. The Governor says that Paul Carrillo “has demonstrated a sincere commitment to living without drugs or alcohol, mentoring others and being a Native American spiritual leader.” (INT)
