Route 60 crash claims three lives
JURUPA VALLEY – (INT) – California Highway Patrol investigators are trying to determine why a motorist lost control of his car on Route 60 causing a mishap that eventually killed the driver and two passengers.
The victims’ blacked out disabled car was partially blocking the eastbound lanes near Country Village Road. It was hit by an oncoming car in the early Saturday morning darkness hurling one of the victims into the westbound lanes only to be struck by other passing vehicles.
The driver involved in the initial impact was identified as Victor Tyler, 27, of Redlands who survived with minor injuries.
Two of the victims were identified Saturday night as Jose Perez, 27, and Omar Arambula, 24, both of Hemet.
