RIVERSIDE – (INT) – An intoxicated driver is likely to face several charges for causing a deadly crash Wednesday that killed an innocent motorist.

California Highway Patrol investigators say that Anthony Lopez, 38, of Moreno Valley crashed his speeding car into several others stopped for a traffic signal on Alessandro Boulevard at Meridian Parkway.

Lamond Mansell, 62, of Temecula was killed.

Seven vehicles were involved in the late afternoon crash that caused minor injuries to a few other people.

Lopez was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI and was later charged with second degree murder.
