Search and rescue teams head for Puerto Rico
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – A 27-member urban search and rescue team left Saturday evening from March Air Reserve Base (MARB) for hurricane-stricken Puerto Rico.

The team will assist in search and rescue efforts in the wake of Hurricane Maria and say their mission will be challenging.

The C-5 cargo plane was loaded with supplies and members of other teams.

March ARB is the only location in Southern California with the ability to move palletized cargo quickly and efficiently. With its centralized location, task force teams from all around the region are have rapid response capability.
