Therapists offer help after Las Vegas shootings
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – Riverside County behavorial health specialists are stepping up to the plate to help those traumatized by the tragic mass shootings in Las Vegas.
Debriefings were held at three locations Wednesday evening conducted by clinical therapists who provided special intervention and resources.

“These debriefings provide a special opportunity to share experiences, learn coping skills and access resources for additional support that might be needed down the road,” said Steve Steinberg, director of RUHS Behavioral Health.
The sessions were held at Riverside, Lake Elsinore and Indio.
In Victorville, individuals and families impacted by the Las Vegas shooting are invited to a supportive, no-cost mental health wellness meeting on Oct., 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Victor Valley Behavioral Health Clinic, 12625 Hesperia Road in Victorville.
