CalJam attracts 30,900, but few arrests
DEVORE – (INT) – CalJam 2017 is over safely for most of those who attended the weekend rock concert at the Glen Helen Amphitheater.
Attendance for the main events on Saturday attracted 27,800. On opening day Friday, over 3,100 campers checked in.
There were three arrests on miscellaneous charges. California Alcohol Beverage Control reported six arrests. Four festival attendees were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment because of accidental injuries.
CalJam was highlighted with performances by the Foo Fighters and several tribute bands.
Security was ramped up because of the mass shooting during a county music festival in Las Vegas on October 1st.
