An 18-year-old burglar is in critical condition after being shot when he forced his way into a Hesperia home Monday night. The homeowner was slightly injured before he shot and wounded Andres Sanchez in a confrontation. Sheriff’s deputies said the sleeping family was awakened as Sanchez forced open the front door. Four juveniles inside the home on Kern Avenue were not harmed. (INT)
