Best, worst cities for veterans
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – With Veterans Day to be celebrated this Saturday, a new report finds San Bernardino among the nation’s ten worst cities for veterans.

WalletHub used 17 key factors, ranging from share of military skill-related jobs to housing affordability to availability of VA health facilities, to determine the rankings.

While San Bernardino came in 97th in its 100 city comparison, Riverside was 39th.

San Bernardino ranked 92nd in jobs for veterans but was 4th highest with the fewest number of vets per veterans population.

Nationwide, many veterans are being denied millions of dollars in disability benefits while others face homelessness and unemployment.
