Man held in dog-scalding incident
CHINO HILLS – (INT) – Sheriff’s deputies have video evidence that resulted in a man’s arrest on suspicion of animal cruelty.

Deputies responded to a check-the-welfare call on Butterfield Ranch Road and saw Enping Qu, 22, pouring scalding water from a tea kettle onto a dog in a cage.

The Inland Valley Humane Society responded, measured the water in the kettle at 129 degrees and took custody of the dog that belonged to Qu's girlfriend.
