Arrest warrants net members of Mexican Mafia INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Law enforcement officials in four Southern California counties, including the Inland Empire, have landed a strike against the Mexican Mafia and its associates.
Forty-seven suspected gang members have been arrested. The take-down included the seizure of 36 firearms, including assault weapons; 12 pounds of methamphetamine, three pounds of heroin, 120 pounds of marijuana, 60 pounds of cocaine, and $35,000 in criminal proceeds. Among the suspects were high-ranking Mexican mafia members or associates. Their alleged criminal activities included extortion, illegal firearms possession, narcotics trafficking, and assaults, for the benefit of the Mexican mafia. Story Date: November 13, 2017
