Search warrant turns up indoor pot farm
PALM SPRINGS - (INT) – The take-over of entire homes for indoor marijuana cultivation is spreading. The desert resort is joining several other Southern California cities and communities where growers are becoming more active.
A drug task force served a search warrant over the weekend at a home on Amelia Way where electricity had been diverted directly into lighting for 390 pot plants.
Some $1,200 in currency was also found in the house.
Arrested on suspicion of illegal marijuana cultivation was Yong Li, 40, from the Los Angeles area.
