Pedestrians among local fatalities
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – At least four people have lost their lives in a series of traffic mishaps across the local region. Three of the victims were pedestrians.

In San Bernardino, three vehicles struck a man on Baseline Street at Perris Hill Road Monday night, but only one of the drivers stopped. The others are being sought on suspicion of felony hit-and-run. Police said the 49-year-old pedestrian was not in a crosswalk.

In Cajon Pass, the California Highway Patrol doesn’t know why a pedestrian was walking along the I-15 near Highway 138 early Tuesday. Keith Gary Richmond, 63, of Hawaiian Gardens was struck and killed.

In Apple Valley, Jessica Iliano Winn, 34, was fatally injured east of the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Navajo Road Monday night.

In Norco, a speeding motorist lost control of his car while approaching slower-moving traffic. His vehicle hit the center divider wall and overturned. The coroner identified the victim as Robin Tanner, 33, of Corona.
