PALM SPRINGS – (INT) - The Kimpton Rowan Hotel in downtown Palm Springs opened Friday. It is the anchor to the City’s downtown revitalization project.

The seven story with 153 rooms offers visitors a unique experience. Light-drenched guestrooms and suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the views of the San Jacinto Mountains and surrounding desert.

The Rowan includes two restaurants, three bars, and over 16,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.

“The Kimpton brand will attract leisure and group visitors to Palm Springs from across the globe, pairs perfectly with the vibe of our city, and anchors this new central downtown experience,” said Mary Jo Ginther, Director of the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism.
