San Bernardino transit hub reaches milestone
SAN BERNARDINO - (INT) – Completion of the long-delayed Downtown San Bernardino Transit Center (SBTC) has been announced.
Beginning December 16th, Metrolink service will be extended to the multi-modal transportation hub.
Metrolink’s San Bernardino and Inland Empire/Orange County lines have been extended 1-mile east from the Santa Fe Depot to the new SBTC.
A variety of bus service will be offered including Omnitrans, the sbX Green Line, Pass Transit, Mountain Transit, and the Victor Valley Transit Authority. Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) connections will begin in January.
Still to come at the transit hub is passenger rail service connecting San Bernardino to Redlands in early 2021.
