Issues at Riverside encampment fire
Riverside fire fighters faced more than they bargained for when they responded to a homeless encampment in the Hole Lake Riparian drainage near Jurupa and Van Buren Avenues Tuesday night. Several small exploding propane tanks prompted a second alarm. Police arrested a transient who’d been running around with a knife. The 1-acre fire was controlled in an hour. (INT)
