Rail and bus commuters get more choices
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – The city’s downtown transit center is the newest stop on Metrolink’s Southern California commuter system. The first trains began service there on Saturday.

The transit center extends the San Bernardino and Inland Empire/Orange County lines by about 1-mile from the current termination at the Santa Fe Depot.

Connections to a variety of bus lines is also offered at the transit center. Passengers can board Omnitrans, the sbX Green line, Pass Transit, Mountain Transit and Victor Valley Transit Authority busses. Riverside Transit Agency connections will begin in January.

Still to come to the transit hub is rail service connecting San Bernardino to Redlands in early 2021.
