Inland cities mark Veterans' Day
INLAND EMPIRE--Veterans’ Day is being marked in several local cities.

It’s a special observance at the Riverside National Cemetery which opened thirty years ago. It’s the final resting place for nearly 200,000 military veterans and their family members. A ‘fly over’ will highlight the event.

Veterans’ Day parades are planned. In Moreno Valley, a wreath will be placed at the Veterans’ memorial during an afternoon ceremony.

In Palm Springs, a concert and fireworks will follow a parade down Palm Canyon Drive. Murrieta stages its parade along Washington Street.

And, nearly 200 veterans’ tribute bricks will be unveiled in San Jacinto.
