SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – A supplemental assessment roll has added $5.7 billion to the value of all taxable property in San Bernardino County.

Among the county’s 24 cities, Fontana turned in the highest supplemental value followed by Rialto, Ontario, Chino and Rancho Cucamonga.

“With an uptick in commercial construction, residential construction, and new transfers in property ownership, the supplemental roll reflects healthy property value gains within the county and produces fair and accurate property assessments,” County Assessor-Recorder-Clerk Bob Dutton said.
