INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Several events will mark Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Riverside’s 25th annual MLK walk-a-thon steps off Monday at 10am from the Stratton Center at Bordwell Park and winds up at Riverside City College. The theme is ‘Silent No More: The March Continues.’

In Murrieta, a parade sponsored by the Inland Empire Men’s Club begins at 10am Monday.

Across the Inland Empire, schools and most colleges will be closed along with federal, state and county offices. Most cities offices will also be closed along with banks and post offices.
