Body of missing Temecula girl washes ashore
HUNTINGTON BEACH – The body of a young Temecula woman, who jumped or fell from the Huntington Beach pier, has been recovered.
The Orange County Coroner’s office identified the body Friday as that of Jessy Cook, an 18-year-old swimmer enrolled at Cal Poly Pomona.
She disappeared late Tuesday night and vanished in the surf. A Coast Guard search was called off the next day. Her body washed ashore Thursday.
