Marijuana enforcement teams take down three operations
VICTORVILLE – (INT) - Indoor marijuana cultivations are growing like weeds in the Victor Valley.

The Sheriff’s Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) struck at two homes and another building. They were found to have 7,000 marijuana plants in various stages of growth. About 50 pounds of processed marijuana was recovered and destroyed.

One location on Hesperia Road was ‘red tagged’ because it was deemed unsafe to occupy.

There were no arrests, but the property owners will be identified and questioned.

Indoor marijuana cultivations have flourished since California’s recreational marijuana law took effect at the beginning of the year. Large-scale grow houses are still illegal.
