INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Two motorists and an 18-month-old toddler are among the latest victims of fatal vehicle accidents.

The little boy was accidentally run over Tuesday after a motorist opened a driveway gate at a residence in Apple Valley. Sheriff’s investigators said the driver was unaware the toddler had walked in front of the moving SUV.

At Lake Elsinore, a motorist rear-ended a car carrier that had stopped at the gore point of the southbound exit of the I-15 at Central Avenue Wednesday. Franky Tambingon, 40, of Loma Linda died when his car became wedged beneath the truck.

The victim of a Tuesday mishap in Jurupa Valley has been identified as Anthony Fox, 35, of Riverside. His vehicle sped out of control on Limonite Avenue and flipped over. Fox died about 6-hours later.
