Where are Californians among the most sinful?
Florida, California and Nevada rank 1, 2 and 3 as the ‘most sinful’ states in the nation.

That’s the upshot of a study which found that each of the 50 states has its own virtues and vices.

WalletHub compared the 50 states across 38 key indicators of immorality. Its data set ranges from violent crimes per capita to excessive drinking to share of the population with gambling disorders.

Californians ranked among the top 10 states with greed and lust issues, but 49th in the vanity rankings and are among the hardest-working.

The least-sinful states were Iowa, Utah, Maine, North Dakota and Vermont.
