New raids on pot houses bring warnings
APPLE VALLEY – (INT) – Property owners whose homes have been taken over by renters profiting by their indoor marijuana cultivations are being put on notice.
After four search warrants were served in Apple Valley, the County Sheriff’s Department is warning property owners who are aware their tenants are growing pot are violating state laws and will be prosecuted and their property seized.
The most recent search warrants resulted in the seizure of 3,000 marijuana plants.
Similar indoor cultivations have been discovered in Hesperia, Victorville and Newberry Springs.
