Happiness is…different things to different people
SACRAMENTO - (INT) – If there are 28 ways to measure happiness, there are eight California cities among the top twenty in the nation.

WalletHub used more than two dozen metrics in its study of the ‘Happiest Cities in the U.S.”. The Bay area cities of Fremont and San Jose were in the top three.

Huntington Beach ranked highest in Southern California and Rancho Cucamonga highest in the Inland Empire. San Bernardino came in 128th.

The study focused on 182 of the nation’s largest cities.
WalletHub examined depression rate, number of suicides per 100,000 residents, separation & divorce rates, adequate-sleep rates, average commute times, emotional and physical well-being, income and employment and community and environment.
