California is among states least economically dependent on gun sales.

In its study of the gun business, WalletHub considered the impact on jobs and political contributions directly and indirectly through gun ownership.

It found that California ranked 42nd among the fifty states.

Maryland was least dependant on gun sales.

Seven of the top ten states were in the plains with Idaho ranked number 1.
