Case against former airport developer-manager settled
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – Former San Bernardino airport manager and developer Scot Spencer has pleaded guilty to a single charge stemming from an alleged case of corruption at the airport.

Spencer, 53, was charged 5-years ago with multiple counts of conspiracy and perjury by allegedly defrauding the airport authority of more than $1 million.

On Thursday, Spencer admitted to one charge of preparing false documents. Charges of perjury and conspiracy to commit grand theft were dismissed.

Spencer was sentenced to 42 days in jail, half of which he already served.

Spencer, who was tasked with developing the former Norton Air Force Base, previously served time in federal prison for bankruptcy fraud.
