Project to accommodate 72,000 vehicles a day RIVERSIDE - (INT) - A 6-year-long project to help stimulate development around March Air Reserve Base, relieve traffic congestion and improve access to the Riverside National Cemetery is complete.
Opening of additional lanes on Van Buren Boulevard on March 10th capped the project which also will facilitate expansion of the Meridian Business Park. The centerpiece featured completion in 2014 of the new Van Buren Avenue Interchange at the 215 freeway. The improvements will accommodate 72,000 vehicles a day by 2035. Story Date: March 28, 2018
